Creative Skimming 101

Skimmers can reprogram RFID chips in the supermarkets, and stores so the prices register cheaper at checkout.

Here's our story on this:

Wisteria House Products R & D (that's us) needed an oscilloscope when we started this venture on developing and testing the Armadillo Dollar products.  We went to our favorite candy for geeks store (Fry's Electronics) and found some empty shelves. We asked the sales manager about the location of the o-scopes and were told that somebody had reprogrammed the price tags on these items. The o-scopes they had pulled were thousands of dollars, but the RF tags were reprogrammed with much lower prices, so they went out the store getting them for pennies on the dollar.  The high priced items were now kept in a secure and locked location until purchase.

This was our first encounter with anybody who had known or seen RF reprogramming instituted in a retail capacity. (June 2007)

The enterprising skimmer can not only STEAL your identity, but they can totally scramble your cards, and reprogram them with whatever data they choose!

Protect your identity, shield your money and guard your family.
